After our super-fun trip to Ohio to visit family, I had to push a little to get prepped and ready for my pet painting workshop the next day. There were only supposed to be 6 people in the class and they just kept coming! We had 9 when the dust settled, and I'm really glad that I prepped some extra canvases! I hate to turn anyone away who comes to create. Not only does it make my paycheck a little sweeter, but you just never know when it could be that one person's courageous step to get back in the game and being turned away could change their mind about it. We had several women in this group who have never painted before!! Well, at least not since elementary school. And some who thought that they could never do something like this. I think they all did a fantastic job and we had a great afternoon laughing and being creative! I really hope to see some of them again for another class. I think I might have sparked some dormant artists!
