Kona

We just adopted this little cutie pie last Wednesday from our local animal shelter. He is such a little sweetheart, I could just eat his little face off! It is heartbreaking to see all the animals in the shelters. My heart breaks thinking of it. If you are considering adopting a pet, please visit a shelter instead of a puppy mill or breeder. These animals need our help. And please, spay and neuter your animals. And encourage everyone you know to do the same. We need to control the breeding of animals so that ones like this aren't euthanized because they happened to born at the wrong place with mixed lineage. If you are unable to adopt, please donate $$ to your local shelter. It is tax deductable and the money you donate helps so much. Or donate here....http://aplacetobark.blogspot.com/

Every little bit helps. Be a humane human!

  1. Thanks for that great reminder! Both of our doggies are rescues, and my mom is in the process of adopting a third cat from a cat shelter that goes through a screening process an intense as a HUMAN adoption! Home visits, references, they practically interview the existing pets!!! So glad for people like that. And your puppy is SO CUTE!

  5. I love the idea of adopting from a shelter. It's hard to do that in my part of the world. We tried. They wouldn't give adopties to families with little kids. I suppose that's a good thing. There aren't that many strays around my neck of the woods.
Cute puppy. Hope you're having fun.
