So much creativity, so little time

Here's a post from the past as part of Seth Apter's annual Buried Treasure event...check out his blog here to see more art blogs that you might not have otherwise discovered!! Happy treasure hunting!!

I have been having wonderful bursts of creativity lately, unfortunately I haven't gotten into the groove of posting/blogging about it as it happens. I've been doing lots of little dogs like the one above, where I incorporate some collage paper backgrounds. I'm loving this combination of painting and gluing and tearing and stamping!
I can create wallpaper and fabrics using the ripped collage papers. So fun!

And here's another one (SOLD) where I used torn papers to create a cozy blanket for this sweet pup.

On a side note, for those of you who live in the Orlando/Lake Mary area.  Hollywood Houndz in Lake Mary is having an awesome raffle for a HUGE basket of pet goodies, gift certificates and my BOOK! There is so much offered that you have to check out their Facebook page to see it all. Seriously, hurry over and enter to win. Tickets are only $5 and proceeds go to help animals in need. Raffle ends Dec. 23rd.  Ya gotta be in it to win it!
Also, if anyone would like to order a copy of Paw Prints in Heaven from me,  just let me know!

Going to put my elf hat back on and get back in the workshop!
